Redrow's New Heritage Collection
With plans to build 180 homes in Leicestershire, Redrow will be
boosting the local economy by providing jobs and homes.
The award-winning developer is hoping to build on its success in
Earl Shilton, where just one home is yet to be sold, with two new
ventures in the county due to launch in early 2012.
Redrow plans to build twelve luxurious homes on a two-acre site
off Glenfield Frith Drive in Glenfield; while over in Countesthorpe
some 168 homes are planned on a 25-acre parcel of land west of
Leicester Road.
Matthew Pratt, managing director for Redrow Homes (Midlands),
commented: "By building new homes in Leicestershire we will be
making a major contribution to the local economy. The two
developments will provide employment for construction workers and
will be a welcome addition to the local housing market, offering a
stand out range of quality built family homes.
"We know from the success we have seen at Rossendale Gardens in
Earl Shilton and at developments across the country that our New
Heritage Collection homes are much sought-after. Combing the best
of old and new, they are proving popular across the country
with buyers who want a home that oozes the character of an older
property but is easy to maintain and efficient to run. The homes in
Glenfield and Countesthorpe will look traditional from the outside,
taking inspiration from the architecture of the Arts and Crafts
era; while inside they will be bright, modern and full of family
friendly features."
Set in an established, leafy suburb the 12 detached homes at
Glenfield will form an exclusive, intimate development and will
feature homes from Redrows' premium collection.
With the outstanding Hall School, within walking distance of the
homes, they're sure to be popular with those with children. Plus
with easy access to the A46 and M1 it's an area that's the ideal
base for commuters.
Surrounded by green fields on three sides, the proposed
Countesthorpe development will enjoy a beautiful village setting
yet is close to Leicester city and also within easy reach of the
M1.
"At Redrow we take pride in all we do from choosing the
locations in which we build, to the standard of craftsmanship and
our customer service. Glenfield and Countesthorpe are the perfect
settings for our New Heritage Collection and we are confident that
the combination of the locations and the high quality we offer as
standard will make both developments a success," Matthew added.
The first homes at Glenfield and at Countesthorpe will be
released for sale early in 2012. In the meantime, potential
purchasers can take a virtual tour of Redrow's New Heritage
