Birmingham's premier conference venue, the ICC, will be hosting
a number of Christmas parties in December in conjunction with
organisers JD Parties. The parties, which are mainly aimed at the
corporate market, offer companies the chance to celebrate Christmas
in style without the increased administration and costs of booking
venues, entertainment and catering.
The parties' itinerary includes top West End stars showcasing
their skills in a fusion of styles from around the world, a DJ,
charity casino and cocktail bar. In addition, the ICC's
award-winning catering team will also be preparing an impressive
three-course menu for the guests.
Entertainments experts JD Parties have more than 15 years
experience in the business, having created events for more
than half a million people since their inception.
Martin Davies, General Manager, ICC Catering, said:
"The ICC recognises that with budgets tightening further as the
year goes on, social events like Christmas parties are
unfortunately often the first things to fall by the wayside.
Following our own successful Christmas parties, we decided to team
up with JD Parties to create an even bigger and better experience
for businesses looking for the ultimate festive experience. The
idea of the parties is to give work colleagues the chance to be
part of a fantastic festive event, without the outlay of expensive
event costs like venue hire, catering and entertainment."
Emma Kelsey, General Manager at JD Parties, said:
"The concept of our Christmas parties came about as we saw a
general decline in the market for big corporate bookings. We
decided to work with the ICC because as one of Birmingham's most
established event venues it seemed the ideal place to host our
events, not to mention the fantastic catering from Amadeus, which
has won over 600 awards. The great thing about JD Parties is that
it not only provides friends and colleagues with a great night out
but also helps connect people living and working in the
city."
JD Parties will host seven parties across December, all priced
at £59.50 per person.
