Local office and archive storage manufacturer, Rackline, has
appointed three new members of staff to their Newcastle-under-Lyme
office after a series of new business wins.
Rackline has appointed Gordon Ramshead, Bob Chilton and Paul
Willis to their expanding team after winning in excess of
£7million worth of new business contracts during the first
half of 2011.
Gordon Ramshead has joined Rackline as Head of Dealer Sales and
he brings with him over 30 years experience within the office
furniture industry working for manufacturers and specialising in
dealer sales.
Gordon's previous roles include National Dealer Sales Manager of
Eurotek Limited where he led their trade sales division.
Gordon said: "My new role is head of Rackline's trade sales
department and I will oversee the dealer representatives in the
North and the South. It is great to have the chance to work for
Rackline as they are a very prestigious company, well thought of in
the industry and they have excellent products. My role is to help
move the business forward by developing our new and existing client
base."
Bob Chilton, an educational specialist with over 18 years in the
industry, joins Rackline as Area Manager. During his career, Bob
has specialised in universities, museums and libraries and he has
worked on a range of high profile projects including the Open
University and Leicester University.
Bob said: "I joined Rackline as they have a good reputation
within the industry and they provide high quality products. I enjoy
working with clients and problem solving to create the best
solutions for them.
"I have two sons at university, so I take a strong interest in
educational issues, which is why I am so passionate about working
in the sector. "
Paul Willis joins Rackline as Trainee Sales Manager and his role
will include generating new contacts through networking and
building relationships with existing clients.
He graduated from Northumbria University with a degree in
business management and marketing and his past experiences include
being a manager at a call centre for three years and completing a
sales internship in California.
Paul said: "I was really interested in working for Rackline as
they have excellent products, I was really impressed by their
professional website and they have a wide range of high profile
clients.
"I am really looking forward to working at Rackline, my role is
not just sales as I will be heavily involved in projects from the
initial design, to meeting clients to the installation
project."
Rackline's Managing Director, Lindsay Khan, said: "We've had a
very strong start to the year which is why we have made three new
appointments. All three of them bring a wealth of knowledge and
experience to the team and they will help drive the business
forward. I am sure we will see a high level of success in the
second half of the year, as we did in the first six months with our
newly strengthened team."

hospitals as well as accountancy and solicitor firms and
