A renowned office equipment and document management company has
just announced its merger with Wolverhampton-based A-STAT Copiers
in a move which sees ongoing investment and growth for the
region.
Telford-based Eco Copiers has joined forces with A-STAT Copiers,
and former Managing Director Jason Blair has taken on a new Sales
Director role within the larger organisation.
"Both A-STAT and Eco Copiers built their reputation on
delivering a great service to clients, and on developing strong
relationships, so from the start we had a natural synergy"
explained Jason Blair. "I've known A-STAT's founder and Director,
David Westwood, for a number of years, and have been in talks with
him to merge the businesses for the last few months."
"We're thrilled to have finalised everything and we're all very
much looking forward to an even brighter business future together.
Not only are we able to share resources and expertise, but our
combined buying power means that we can access the very best prices
from manufacturers for our clients, plus we're eager to continue to
invest in the region and to further grow our operations in the
coming 12 months" Jason added.
A-STAT Copiers was launched in 1982 and is still family owned
and operated. Proud to be one of the last independent businesses of
its type in the region, the company now works from its
state-of-the-art and purpose-designed head office in Compton,
Wolverhampton.
Operating under the A-STAT Copiers name, the new organisation
will continue to serve clients in the commercial, local authority,
education, professional services, and business world, across the
region and UK-wide, providing a whole range of office equipment,
software, photocopiers, fax machines, document management
solutions, wide format print, and toner and ink.
"We believe that our independent status really makes us stand
out" explained David Westwood. "Because we have relationships with
most of the major manufacturers but are not tied into any specific
one, we are able to give clients the very best solution for their
needs. And it's this honesty of approach which has led to our
business success today, and which Jason and the Eco Copiers team
share."
"We are also manufacturer-trained specialists in the repair and
maintenance of machines and equipment, and this wealth of service
knowledge is absolutely unequalled in our region. By merging our
operations we are much better placed to serve our clients across a
variety of markets and geographic areas, from equipment purchase
right through to maintenance, and with our ongoing success and
business growth we'll be able to continue to invest in the local
economy too" David added.
The merger is being celebrated with the offer of a free and
no-obligation audit of a business, school, or organisations'
current print and document management solutions. "There's no
obligation at all" explained Jason, "however for the local
businesses that we've recently taken through the audit, we've
demonstrated full control over printing, significant cost
reduction, genuine environmental benefits and intelligent
solutions, so it's absolutely been a win:win situation. Anyone
interested in booking an appointment for a discussion about their
needs is really welcome to contact the office on 01902 746077" he
concluded.
