Matthew Hammond, Mark Hopkins and Eddie Williams of PwC were
appointed joint administrators of Parry Bowen Limited on 27 October
2011.
Parry Bowen is a manufacturer and installer of curtain walling
and commercial windows which employed 150 people and is based in
Chasetown, Staffordshire. The appointment of administrators comes
as a result of cash flow difficulties the company has faced which
culminated in the decision to make the majority of the workforce
redundant in the week commencing 17 October 2011.
Matthew Hammond, joint administrator and Partner at PwC in the
Midlands said:
"Parry Bowen is a Staffordshire building cladding specialist
that has been established for over 20 years and which has
unfortunately been severely affected by the ongoing difficulties
that continue to affect the construction sector.
"We are currently exploring strategic options in respect of the
companies' assets and are working to secure interest in the assets
of the business."
