Two expanding national companies are welcomed to Newark
following recent negotiations by Hodgson Elkington LLP chartered
surveyors one to Brunel Park, to the east of the town and the other
to the Fernwood Business Park, a high-specification office
development situated two miles south of the town centre.
Totemic Limited, a company specialising in financial services
has taken a 6,000 sq ft office at Halifax Court, Fernwood Business
Park and BSS Group Limited, who supply plumbing and heating
supplies to the trade have secured 5,000 sq ft at Telford Court,
Brunel Park.
The news comes hot on the heels of the recent announcement by
Gladman Developments of the opening of its new Fernwood Business
Centre, a building offering traditional office space on flexible
terms, which recently attracted four new occupiers including
Amalgam Training taking the entire ground floor.
"We very much welcome BSS Group to Telford Court, part of the
44-acre Brunel Park site which is ideally and strategically located
adjacent to the A1 and its junction with the A46/A17," said Matthew
Johnson of Hodgson Elkington, letting agents for Brunel Park.
"Both these lettings, achieved in difficult trading conditions,
show the high level of commitment by businesses to the Newark
market and in particular the strong demand that the Fernwood
Business Park is generating". Said Tom Elkington of Hodgson
Elkington who are marketing the £13 million development at
Fernwood.
"Even in these extremely difficult market conditions we
are confident, based on the current level of enquiries, that
further lettings across Newark will be secured in the not so
distant future," added Tom Elkington.
