Family Housing Association, which provides nearly 2,500 affordable homes in Birmingham and the West Midlands, has appointed two new senior members of staff.

Jackie Molloy has joined as assistant director people and performance and Richard Wilson has taken on the role of assistant director finance.

Jackie was previously head of people and performance at Bromsgrove District Housing Trust and Richard was director of resources at Local Better Regulation Office.

They join Tim Sewell, chief executive, deputy chief executive Carmel McCarthy, director of finance and business development Rob Ellis, assistant director homes and neighbourhoods Gail Newbold and head of community investment Adam Carey in the new senior team.

Commenting on the re-organisation, chief executive Tim Sewell said: "I'd like to welcome Jackie and Richard to the team.

"I am confident that our new senior management team has the combined skills and expertise to ensure that Family can confidently face the current challenges in the social housing sector and the wider economy and be well placed to take advantage of the opportunities that may arise."

Family Housing operates in some of the most deprived wards in Birmingham and the wider West Midlands. One of the Tenant Services Authority's top 10 co-regulation champions, in the last 18 months it has grown by more than 10% and increased customer satisfaction by 20% since 2008.
