A thriving company has engineered a move to new premises in Gloucestershire as it aims to expand and create new job opportunities.

CA Blackwell (Contracts) Ltd, a well-established civil engineering contractor that is part of the Blackwell Group, has taken an office unit at the prestigious Brockeridge Park development located at J1 of the M50.

Brockeridge Park is a new office space development in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, comprising 16 office buildings ranging from 700 to 5,679 sq ft. CA Blackwell has signed a 10-year lease for Unit 4, Breden Court, which measures 1,200 sq ft.

Adam Lane, contracts manager for CA Blackwell (Contracts) Ltd, said: "The new office is in a perfect central location with great access to the motorway network. This provides the group with a fantastic opportunity to grow its central and south west civil engineering business and to complement our strategic national coverage. As we settle into our new regional home we look forward to growing the team and our local supply chain."

Founded in 1956, CA Blackwell has a head office in Earls Colne, near Colchester, and four regional offices in Wakefield, Swansea, Falkirk and now Gloucestershire. The company's annual turnover is in excess of £70 million and it has a workforce of more than 400 people operating nationally.

The contractor has relocated its Midlands office from Bromsgrove to form a central regional office in Gloucestershire. This will give the team an opportunity to work across the West Midlands and down as far as Somerset in the south west.

Rob Champion, partner of Worcester-based agents Halls Commercial, said: "We are pleased to have achieved a successful letting in what continues to be a challenging commercial market. This demonstrates that there are businesses that are performing well and are seeking expansion or relocation opportunities to satisfy their evolving business plans. Well specified opportunities in first class locations such as Brockeridge Park, are managing to achieve good take up levels despite the overall mood of doom and gloom."

Only three units now remain at Brockeridge Park ranging from 700 sq ft to 1,425 sq ft. Letting agents for the scheme are Halls Commercial and John Ryde Commercial.

Halls Commercial provides specialist commercial property services to a wide range of clients throughout the Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire and wider Midlands region. To view the premises, contact Halls Worcester of 01905 720104 or email commercial@hallsworcester.com.
