Real estate adviser, DTZ has appointed Nicholas Pitt as Centre
Director for the Mander Centre in Wolverhampton.
Nicholas will be responsible for raising the profile of the
centre and Wolverhampton as a shopping destination and working with
retailers to drive footfall and increase dwell time.
Nicholas joins from The Darwin, Pride Hill and Riverside
shopping centres in Shrewsbury where he was Centre Director. Whilst
there, he held a number of other positions including, Vice-Chair of
the Shrewsbury Chamber of Commerce and previously managed The Fort
Shopping Park in Birmingham. Prior to joining the property
industry, Nicholas spent 14 years in the Household Cavalry
regiment.
Nicholas takes over from interim Centre Director, Arnold
Wilcox-Wood.
DTZ was appointed to manage the Mander Centre on behalf of the
owners, Delancey earlier this year.
Andrew King of DTZ commented on the appointment: "We are
delighted to welcome Nicholas to the Mander Centre team. He brings
with him a wealth of experience and a proven track record in retail
management."
Nicholas Pitt added: "I am looking forward to working with
