In the current economic climate many entrepreneurs are reluctant to open their own businesses, but Coventry based Hotdog Presentations has bucked the trend, by beginning trading and attracting several major clients in just a few weeks.

Hotdog Presentations offers clients a complete solution, as not only do they specialise in AV hire, conferences, events and AV installations, they also offer full marketing and advertising services, which is especially attractive to conference clients and hotels who need a 'totally branded' event.

Hotdog is owned and run by AV professional Tom Stevens-Moore who has over a decade of experience in the industry, and Andrea Stevens-Moore who has over twenty years of experience in marketing and advertising.

Operating from an office and warehouse in Binley, Coventry, the Hotdog team began trading at the end of September and has already attracted many clients, including hotel giants Hilton Hotels, Menzies Hotels and Mecure Hotels. They have also just booked in their third conference and fourth AV installation.

Director Andrea Stevens-Moore explains why Hotdog has hit the ground running so successfully. "With our years of experience in AV and marketing, we understand exactly what our customers expect, how we can improve upon the kind of service they normally receive, and how to brand and market ourselves effectively. We therefore offer a boutique solution - first class new equipment and a speedy responsive service, but at a budget price, which is so important in today's tough economic climate."

www.hotdogpresentations.co.uk was launched within a few days of the business opening and is already proving to be a good income generator. Social media has also played a bit part in Hotdog's success, as the regular use of Facebook and Twitter has allowed offers and promotions to be publicised with little cost.

As well as serving Coventry and the surrounding areas, Hotdog is perfectly placed to offer a full nationwide service, which many clients are already seeing as a valuable advantage.

Summing up Hotdog Presentations successful start, co owner Tom Stevens-Moore said. "Our years of experience has shown us that clients rightly expect the best service and equipment, even when budgets are tight. Hotdog meets and surpasses that need, each and every time, which is why more and more companies and venues, trust us to take care of their audio visual needs. We were concerned in the planning stages that this may not be the right time, given the current financial climate, to launch a business. But we had such faith in our corporate positioning and dedication to our ideals, we decided the time was as good as any. We're so pleased to have got off to such a flying start, and are very grateful to the many clients who have been forward thinking enough to give us a go, and have now become loyal and happy regular customers."
