The newest recruit at one of Coventry's leading estate agents
has found her home from home.
Suzy Harrold has joined Shortland Horne, which has offices in
the city centre, Earlsdon and on Walsgrave Road, as the company's
marketing manager.
Shortland Horne has appointed Suzy to enhance its marketing
activity across the city and the region. It's her second
spell with Shortland Horne and, after leaving for a short period of
time, she is delighted to return.
"I am really pleased to be back," said Suzy. "I've always had a
good relationship with Shortland Horne, not only was my first
full-time job here but I also bought my first property through
Shortland Horne New Homes First Time Buyer scheme.
"I really like the company's ethics, culture and
forward-thinking attitude. Coming back is a great opportunity for
me and I am looking forward to working closely with the directors
to help increase Shortland Horne's market share and overall
performance."
Shortland Horne is currently enjoying strong sales and Suzy's
role will be to continue that performance and to help attract more
sellers to put their properties on the market with the
company.
"We want to make the most of traditional marketing but also want
to look at ways of moving into the new age," she said. "We have
been carrying out market research exercises to ensure we are
offering people the service they want and to see where we can
improve."
As well as undertaking her new role with Shortland Horne, Suzy
is keeping busy outside of the office by completing her part-time
business management degree at Coventry University of which she has
just entered her fifth and final year.
Laura Shortland, director of Shortland Horne, said: "It's great
to have her back. She was a great team player before and we've kept
in touch over the years.
"As soon as the opportunity arose, we thought Suzy would be
perfect for the job and I am delighted that she jumped at the
chance."
