Leading Birmingham law firm, Irwin Mitchell, has announced four
new promotions within the same legal team as the firm confirmed
that all four of its medical law trainees have been promoted to
full Solicitor status.
Joining Irwin Mitchell's rapidly growing list of solicitors in
the Birmingham office are medical law experts, Thomas Riis-Bristow,
Laura Daly, Jenna Harris and Rosanna Cox.
The news was warmly welcomed by Partner and medical law expert
Lisa Jordan, who said she was delighted with all of the
appointments, emphasising Irwin Mitchell's commitment to expanding
the team and campaigning to ensure that lessons are learnt to
protect future patient welfare across the West Midlands.
She said: "This has been another busy year for Irwin Mitchell,
with some high quality appointments made, but these promotions show
that we continue to have capable people carrying out high quality
legal work for our clients at all levels and in all areas of our
business.
"We have seen first hand how important it is for our lawyers to
protect patient safety. At Irwin Mitchell we are constantly
expanding our team of lawyers to ensure that we maintain the high
standard of successful work that we are recognised for."
Thomas Riis-Bristow completed his law degree at the University
of Hertfordshire in 2007 and his Legal Practice Course at the
College of Law in Birmingham in 2008. He began his training with
Irwin Mitchell in September 2009.
Laura Daly completed her law degree at Sheffield Hallam
University in 2006 and her Legal Practice Course at the College of
Law Bloomsbury, London in 2008. She began her training with Irwin
Mitchell in September 2009.
Jenna Harris completed her law degree at Sheffield Hallam
University in 2008 and her Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law
School in 2009. She started working for Irwin Mitchell during her
final year at University; she took a clinical legal education
module which required her to work day a week at the Sheffield
office. She began her training at the Birmingham office in
September 2009.
Rosanna Cox completed her law degree at Leeds University in 2007
and her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Birmingham in
2009 She began her training at the Birmingham office in September
2009. All four solicitors now practise in the area of complex
clinical negligence case work.
