A receivership expert at national commercial property
consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton has been elected as chairman of
the Association of Property and Fixed Charge Receivers (NARA).
Julian Healey, who leads the LSH receivership service, and is a
director in the firm's Nottingham office, is a Fellow and founder
member of NARA and has been a Council member since 2009.
He is a chartered surveyor and operates widely throughout the
Midlands alongside Roger Buncombe, who leads the Birmingham LSH
receivership team. Both Julian and Roger are RICS Registered
Property Receivers and have more than 40 years experience between
them providing professional and strategic advice to major lenders.
Julian Healey said, "I am delighted to be appointed as chairman
at an exciting time for NARA, when the need for high quality,
trusted, professional advice is so great, in what is a difficult
economic environment. The high reputation of NARA among the banking
industry continues to grow and is based upon independence and
realistic advice given by its members. I look forward to working
with the NARA membership and Council over the coming months,
particularly in developing further NARA's national profile."
NARA was formed in 1995 by a group of professionals from various
professional disciplines including property, law and insolvency
practices. NARA represents members' interests at the interface with
Government, the DBIS, the Insolvency Service, and other external
agencies, and is now firmly established as the leading voice for
fixed charge receivers.
