A Warwickshire company has completed the most low carbon
makeover ever to help its green neighbours develop a new
business.
Creative communications agency Box Clever Marketing has only
around a dozen steps to make from its office in Ettington Business
Park in Stratford for meetings with its newest client.
The creative juices of its team have gone into overdrive to help
established family firm Alderminster Electrics form a new division
called Solar Efficient to install and service solar panels.
Justin Woodman, managing director of Box Clever Marketing, said
the partnership lived up to the green ethos of the new solar panel
company.
He said: "This must be the most low carbon makeover ever since
our offices are across a courtyard which makes attending meetings
extremely easy - and there was plenty of agency energy.
"When Alderminster Electrics wanted to set up Solar Efficient to
target the UK market they needed a brand identity, website and
brochure which is where we stepped in.
"We conducted plenty of research into an industry which is set
to grow 30 times by 2015 as well as looked at their national and
local competitors.
"Most solar panel businesses are small add-ons to existing
businesses but we didn't want to position them as a local company
but to give them a national identity through using marketing
material which we did through its logo, imagery, copy tone and
identity to bring the business to life.
"The government is backing clean energy schemes to encourage
more and more householders to give serious consideration to
renewable energy and it is definitely an industry which it is
growing at a massive rate."
Maria Clack, of Solar Efficient, said Alderminster Electrics had
over 25 years' experience in the electrical installation sector but
setting up Solar Efficient was all part of their diversification
plans.
"To be able to hold our meetings with Box Clever in a carbon
friendly manner fits in perfectly with our environmental
credentials," she said.
"We spotted a gap in the market to push forward our specialism
in solar panel installation and our website and marketing
literature has played a big part in helping to quickly build a
reputation as a leading expert within the sector not just in
Warwickshire but across the UK."
