Stratford-upon-Avon based Lodders Solicitors are celebrating raising £117 for the Breast Cancer Campaign after joining in the recent nationwide "Wear it Pink" day.

The firm's Pink Cake Sale saw the office "cooking" with pink cup cakes, pink sponges and pink fondant fancies.

There was also a bottle of champagne for the "best dressed" person, who embraced the challenge to wear pink with the most panache!

It was won by a dashing Stephen Brignull, partner in the private client department.

Sofia Tayton, of Lodders' charity committee, said: "It was a fun day in aid of an important cause.

"Even those male staff members most committed to the suit culture got involved in the spirit of the occasion!

"Too often still breast cancer is a killer. This was our small contribution to helping those battling against this dreadful disease."

Breast Cancer Campaign currently supports 101 research projects worth over £17.2 million in 34 centres of excellence across the UK and Ireland.
