A brand new law company set to launch in Shrewsbury this week already has its roots firmly in the town and is promising to do things very differently.

Darwin Matthews Solicitors, which is based at Swan Hill Court, is the brainchild of Steve Matthews, a former Senior Crown Prosecutor who has over 20 years experience in the legal profession and has worked for a number of leading local law firms.

The launch of the practice will be marked by a special social event at Romolos restaurant in Victoria Quay, where members of the local business community will be given the opportunity to learn more about the company and the services it offers, as well as network with fellow allied businesses. Darwin Matthews Solicitors will specialise in Personal Injury Law, Family Law, Financial Mis-Selling Claims, Employment Law, General Civil Litigation, and Wills and Probate.

Steve Matthews, Founder of Darwin Matthews Solicitors, said: "We are very excited about the official launch of our new company and are very much looking forward to meeting the local community.

"The name Darwin Matthews derives from the fact that we're a company with strong roots in the town and that we intend to be a long-term feature of the local business community. We are introducing a fresh approach to providing legal services, with the offer of weekend and evening appointments and town centre parking. We are also happy to conduct meetings at clients' own homes if preferred.
