Crystal Motor Group, the largest independent motor group in Lincolnshire, has appointed a new Sales Manager as the driving force behind its Lincoln branch.

Andrew Smith (45), who is originally from Mansfield, has over 20 years' experience in the industry and has previously worked as Sales Manager and a Branch Manager for one of the biggest car retailers in the East Midlands.

Andrew's responsibilities at Crystal of Lincoln Nissan will include new and used car sales, overseeing the site, monitoring customer satisfaction, HR issues, budgets, forecasting and relationships with customers and manufacturers.

"What I love about this job is the variety it provides," said Andrew. "Every day is different and it's quite challenging especially in the current economic climate but I enjoy having something to sink my teeth into.

"One of the most rewarding aspects of a role like this and something that gives me a lot of job satisfaction is the interaction with customers and being able to build and maintain long-term relationships with them.

"Buying a car is one of the most emotional and exciting purchases a person can make and seeing someone walk away genuinely happy with what they have bought, and to have had a part in providing that service, is extremely rewarding."
