A car park managed by Birmingham-based Gallan Parking in the
heart of Sheffield's legal district has been adjudged one of the
safest parking spots in the city.
The 53-space purpose-built underground facility launched six
months ago at West Bar has been awarded a prestigious 'Park Mark'
by South Yorkshire Police.
It is the second such award for the national car park operator
and British Parking Association member after being accredited for a
300-space amenity in Stafford.
Part of the new £7.5-million Crown House office
development, the floodlit and regularly patrolled car park has met
the stringent safety and security criteria of the Association of
Chief Police Officers.
Open from 7am to 7pm and charging £3.50 all day, the
amenity serves Sheffield's legal and business community and users
of the city's main court complex opposite.
Phillip Grant, Managing Director of Gallan Parking, said: "We
are delighted with this award which will give motorists complete
piece of mind when they come to use our car park. This is our
second Park Mark and I am confident that it will eventually become
a standard for Gallan-managed car parks across the country."
Gallan Parking, part of Birmingham-based property specialists
Gallan Group, operates over 3,000 spaces in an area from Sheffield
to Worthing and Stafford to Norwich.
