Baker Tilly has bolstered its Corporate Finance team with the
appointment of Sukhi Johal as Associate Director, as the firm
continues to experience increasing demand in this area.
Having previously worked within the Corporate Finance team of
Baker Tilly for a number of years and Big 4 Chartered Accountants,
Sukhi is returning to Baker Tilly following six years spent in the
corporate and investment banking sector.
Initially joining HBoS from Baker Tilly in 2005, Sukhi spent two
years working on transactions in the mid market Corporate and PLC
sectors. In August 2007 she joined the Corporate and Structured
Finance Team of the Icelandic investment bank, Kaupthing, and most
recently worked at Royal Bank of Scotland within the Global
Restructuring Team. This latest role saw her advising a wide
ranging portfolio of businesses, which had fallen outside the
bank's normal lending criteria, on options such as accelerated
sales, re-financing, restructuring and exits.
In her new position Sukhi's existing skills will be utilised
across the broad variety of client sectors which Baker Tilly
currently operates. In addition, to further developing the firm's
undertaking of Lead Advisory work for owner managed and large
corporate businesses.
