Award Winning event caterers Five Rivers are beginning December
2011 with the launch of their brand new restaurant Five Rivers
à la Carte.
Situated at the heart of the West Midlands, the owners of the
new restaurant are behind the highly successful and pioneering
outdoor catering business. Nationwide, the Five Rivers group has
established a reputation for delivering a personable, innovative
touch to any event with their distinctive North Indian cuisine.
The success of Five Rivers is demonstrated by their partnership
with several well known venues around the UK including The Belfry
in Sutton Coldfield and The National Motorcycle Museum in Coventry.
Branching out into the community, Five Rivers have recently
sponsored a stand at Walsall Football Club.
The team behind this award-winning operation Kindi Sunner and
Shamim HM are relishing the prospect of expanding this thriving
business.
MD Kindi Sunner says, "We have taken the mighty leap into the
restaurant business. Our reputation in the outdoor catering trade
business, twinned with our ambitions to expand the Five Rivers
group, has meant that we were able to turn our dream of a
restaurant into reality with Five Rivers a la Carte".
"This venture will distinguish the Five Rivers group from our
competitors, as our business will not only incorporate outdoor
catering but a fine dining establishment".
Central to Five Rivers is Executive Chef Rashpal Sunner, who
after perfecting his culinary skill in India, revolutionized how
Asian cuisine was delivered at large scale events and celebrations.
From satisfying wedding couples to impressing judges to win the
'Ethnic Chef of the Year', Chef Sunner has exceeded his own
expectations.
"After coming to the UK and starting the Five Rivers brand, the
group has continued to develop beyond my expectations. The thread
tying our business together is experimentation with food, but not
compromising on the quality or service".
"I wanted to bring something new and fresh to the Asian catering
scene and we have continued to pioneer in this industry".
Five Rivers has developed an identity that encapsulates their
roots back to the Punjab, a state in North India. Translating into
English as 'Five Rivers', the Punjab has not only provided the
influence for the group's menu but also the principles behind their
highly successful business.
"Punjab is where I come from and influences the day to day at
Five Rivers. The richness of this area in India provides us with
not only the flavours for our dishes but also with a heritage that
is based on hard work and always delivering the best".
At the end of the year, the restaurant will open it's doors on
December 10th open for diners seeking something new in Asian fine
dining, but all eyes are on the start of 2012, when the official
launch will see specially invited guests to a restaurant launch
like no other!
