A business advisory firm has continued its drive to invest in
bright new talent with its annual intake of graduate recruits.
Cooper Parry, with offices in Derby, Leicester and Nottingham,
has welcomed nine trainees to join the firm's audit team. Over the
next three years the graduates will be put through intensive on and
off the job training.
All nine recruits will work across the firm's offices in the
East Midlands with Laura Livesey and Sarah Page joining the firm as
student chartered accountants.
Laura, 22, attended the University of Leicester graduating with
a First in Geography, while 21-year-old Sarah, from Birstall read
Maths at Nottingham University.
Four further graduates join as student chartered accountants
including Matthew Pavis, Niall Chantrill, Misti Cox and Adam
Hollins. Niall, from Leicestershire joins the firm with an
Industrial Economics degree from Nottingham University, alongside
Leeds University graduate Matthew. Misti also attended the
University of Nottingham University, graduating with a 2.1 degree
in Psychology while Adam graduated from University of Nottingham
with an MSc Finance and Investment degree.
Other additions to the audit team are Loughborough University
students Holly Parsons and Sarah Cann who will be joining on a 12
month placement as part of their university course. Dominic Morris,
a keen golfer from Leicestershire completes the intake by joining
as trainee accounts technician from John Cleveland College Sixth
Form after a-levels, having decided against university.
