A wealth management and tax advisory team has narrowly missed
out on a prestigious national award which recognises the best
financial planners across the country.
Cooper Parry Wealth Strategies, which has offices in Nottingham,
Derby and Leicester, came runners-up in the David Norton Building
Excellence Award at the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP)
national conference in what judges described as one of the "closest
finishes" in its history.
The firm received a special commendation for its entry for the
award which is named in memory of former IFP president David
Norton.
Stephen Jones, chief executive of Cooper Parry Wealth
Strategies, said: "We are delighted with this achievement which is
a testimony to just exactly how far Cooper Parry Wealth Strategies
have come since developing our new offering of combining financial
planning, personal tax and investment advice.
"To come so close to winning this award and compete against
established names shows the hard work and dedication of all the
team at Cooper Parry Wealth Strategies."
Barry Horner, one of the three judges said: "I was particularly
impressed with the quality of all three of this year's finalists.
These are all great businesses which demonstrate the highest
standards of professionalism in delivering a comprehensive
Financial Planning service for their clients."
