Citypress, the leading independent public relations consultancy,
has recruited an account executive to its Birmingham team after
expanding its client base.
Laura O'Meara, a journalism studies graduate from the University
of Sheffield joins the office on Temple Row, which was established
in April this year.
Laura will report to Midlands office head Katie Dale and will
work alongside account manager Holly Jones on a number of the
team's client briefs which include Lloyds TSB Commercial and the
Midlands operation of leading mid-market private equity firm
LDC.
Laura will be part of the account team on a new PR brief with
premium gin brand Martin Miller's, as well as housebuilder Morris
Homes.
Commenting on the Birmingham team's expansion, Katie Dale, head
of Midlands at Citypress, said:
"Laura's appointment comes after a successful first six months
of client growth for Citypress in the Midlands and she is a very
welcome addition to our team.
"Having established the Birmingham-based office earlier this
year, we have made great progress in our work with existing
Citypress clients providing locally-based consultancy on UK-wide
briefs, as well as increasing our account base with new business
wins."
