Community Retailer The Midcounties Co-operative is giving
colleagues the chance to shine and show off their musical talents
at a charity concert in the Black Country.
'For One Night Only' will be hosted by radio DJ Dicky Dodd from
The Wolf and will take place at Springvale Sports and Social Club,
Millfields Road, Bilston, on Friday 18 November.
The evening will feature the musical and dancing talents of
colleagues from the business as well as rock band Type 40 and up
and coming rap star ADott Ash who has just launched his first album
"I'll be something", funded by The Midcounties Co-operative.
Open to the public, the event starts at 7.30pm and is in aid of
charity partner Women's Aid, the key national charity working to
end domestic violence against women and children.
Rachel Lockett, Membership Development Officer, said: "All the
colleagues wanted to do something fun and sociable that would help
to raise money for really a worthy cause and an evening of
entertainment seemed like the perfect night. We've got some very
talented singers and dancers in the business and this is their
chance to shine.
"It's going to be a great night where people can really enjoy
themselves and help to raise as much money as possible. We will
also have a charity raffle with prizes donated by our Travel and
food businesses."
Tickets for the evening cost £5 and are available on the
night or call Rachel Lockett on 07794219307. For more information
