A recently expanded company is sharing its success with the
community and is on the lookout for more ways to help within the
local area.
Telford based Unique Copiers has always been keen to get
involved with good causes and has applied the idea close to home by
helping one of its staff members after their holiday plans were
ruined this summer.
Glenn Morgan, at Unique Copiers was delighted when his MD
arranged a new caravan for his family after their own was stolen a
week before they were due to go away.
"It was a totally unexpected surprise when I was presented with
a set of keys, I thought they were playing a joke on me," Glenn
said.
"When I was told to go outside and I saw the caravan, I was in
complete shock- I couldn't believe they had been so generous.
"Our MD Adrian really saved the day as we'd been planning the
trip to Weston-Super-Mare for a while and we were all devastated
when our caravan was stolen.
"When I told my wife and son the trip was back on, they were so
excited and exceptionally grateful for such a kind offer from my
employers."
Managing Director of Unique Copiers Adrian Casey was pleased he
could help Glenn and his family and is eager to support other
causes in the Telford area.
"When I heard that Glenn would have to cancel his trip, I really
wanted to help," Adrian said.
"In light of our expansion we're always looking at new ways of
getting involved in the local community and I just thought; charity
begins at home!"
The company are already involved with charities such as
Worcester Live, Hartlebury Castle Preservation Trust, Wooden Tops
Nursery and PAP Children's Charity and are keen for people to get
in touch with ideas of how they can help.
"We pride ourselves on being different, whether it's how we can
service our customers most effectively or support we can offer to
the wider community," Adrian continued.
"We'd like people to get in touch if they think we can help,
whether it's manual labour or sponsorship of local sporting team
we'd like to get involved."
