A local ceramic artist has made the move to Friar Gate Studios
after receiving his biggest ever commission.
Paul Cummins Ceramics joins the rapidly expanding family of
creative industries housed within the Studios on Ford Street in the
city.
The move coincides with news that Paul has been chosen to create
an English flower garden made up of up to 10,000 ceramic flowers,
each crafted by hand for the Cultural Olympics 2012.
Paul established the business in 2009 and since then his
exclusive pieces and large scale ceramic installations have gained
widespread critical acclaim. He now boasts an international client
base with clients in America, Ireland and Australia.
He is known for his distinctive landscape installations and
traditional pancheons, which feature exuberant flower
glazes.
Commenting on the decision to move to Friar Gate Studios, Paul

to take the next exciting step in its development."
Ann Bhatti, centre manager at Friar Gate Studios, added:
"I would like to welcome Paul to Friar Gate Studios. His work is
