A business advisory firm is celebrating a milestone in its
Leicester history after reaching its 10 year anniversary.
Cooper Parry, based in the Business Quarter, has marked a decade
of business in the city with a team celebration at its offices in
Colton Square.
The celebration included a speech by Kevin Harris who founded
the Leicester office in November 2001. The Leicester office now
employs 30 people, with plans to grow this further over the next
few years.
Mr Harris, partner at the firm, said: "We are very proud to have
reached this milestone especially when you consider the events that
have taken place over the past decade.

Cooper Parry set up its Leicester office in 2001 with a team of
two based at The Crescent in King Street. It was the first business
to commit to the newly formed Business Quarter , based at Colton
Square.
Over the past ten years Cooper Parry has developed its client
base to include many of the county's growing and successful private
businesses, continually investing in new services and people to
meet client needs
The Leicester office currently houses five resident partners
covering the core disciplines of audit, tax, corporate finance, IT
solutions and business recovery.
Cooper Parry recently launched Wealth Strategies at its
Leicester office aimed supporting the region's business owners,
entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals. This team provides
personal strategic planning, tax structuring and robust investment
advice through the bespoke service, tailored to individual needs
and circumstances.
Cooper Parry also has offices in Nottingham, Derby and in the
centre of London employing 225 people in total. Over the 2009-2010
the company posted a £15 million turnover with a profit
improvement of 80% on the previous year.
