A high street bank is celebrating its official re-opening since
undergoing a major refurbishment.
The Barclays branch in Kings Heath, Birmingham was officially
opened by Roger Godsiff MP.
This refurbishment has seen a number of improvements made
including open counters, private offices, and a comfortable waiting
area.
Antonia Saunders, Branch Manager said: "Many of the changes made
have been a direct result of customer feedback. We are now able to
offer a full range of banking services including business and
mortgage advice. We are delighted with the refurbishment which
provides a great environment for customers and staff alike."
The refurbishments to the branch took nine weeks to complete
with most of the work taking place when the branch was closed,
ensuring the safety of customers and staff and avoiding disruption
to services.
Commenting at the opening, Roger Godsiff MP said: I am delighted
that Barclays are re-opening their branch in Kings Heath having
undergone a major refurbishment. The refurbished branch provides a
much improved facility for its customers and I am sure this will be
welcomed by everybody who uses it."
Antonia Saunders continues: "We want to offer all our customers
more choice and control when it comes to banking. Our new look
branch, has facilities that have been specifically developed to
provide more choice and privacy."
