A high street bank is celebrating its official re-opening since
undergoing a major refurbishment.
The Barclays branch in Belgrave Road, Leicester was officially
opened by the Bank's Managing Director of its Branch Network -
Barnaby Davis.
This refurbishment has seen a number of improvements made
including open counters, private offices, and a comfortable waiting
area.
Barclays organized a number of celebrations to entertain their
customers including Indian drum band - 'The Ministry of Doh', free
samosas provided by local restaurant 'Bobbys' and entertainment
from the Barclays guards.
Kas Kanani, Branch Manager said: "Many of the changes made have
been a direct result of customer feedback. We are now able to offer
a full range of banking services including business and mortgage
advice. We are delighted with the refurbishment which provides a
great environment for customers and staff alike."
The refurbishments to the branch took three months to complete
with most of the work taking place when the branch was closed,
ensuring the safety of customers and staff and avoiding disruption
to services.
Commenting at the opening, Barnaby Davis, Managing Director of
Barclays Branch Network said: I am delighted that Barclays are
re-opening their branch in Leicester having undergone a major
refurbishment. The refurbished branch provides a much improved
facility for our customers and I am sure this will be welcomed by
everybody who uses it."
Kas Kanani continues: "We want to offer all our customers more
choice and control when it comes to banking. Our new look branch,
has facilities that have been specifically developed to provide
more choice and privacy."
