A financial recruitment specialist has celebrated doubling in
size at the end of its first full year by promising candidates 'a
ball' at one of the biggest networking events in the calendar.
Alexander Daniels, based at Baskerville House in Birmingham,
will be sponsoring the Birmingham Chartered Accountants Students
Society (BCASS) Ball at Villa Park on November 11 after winning a
competitive tender.
The company, which has grown from four to 14 staff after a
hugely successful first year's trading, successfully sponsored the
Birmingham Young Chartered Accountants Group (YCAG) Ball at the
same venue last month.
The event is expected to attract over 400 young professionals
from a key market for the recruiter, whose clients include Coventry
Building Society, Vax, Roadchef, Cap Gemini, Karndean, Midland
Co-op, GKN, Halfords, Laser UK and AT&T.
Alexander Daniels, which is aiming to expand further by opening
a second office in 2012, won a prestigious business trip to Dubai
in a competition organised by the Birmingham Post this year that
provided the opportunity to learn more about opportunities
internationally with special reference to the Middle East.
Launched in March 2010 by dynamic highly skilled young
recruiters Jamie Rodden, Nick Pearce and Ian Mourbey with fellow
director Andy Foote, Alexander Daniels specialises in accountancy
and finance, senior executive appointments, interim/temporary
contracts and Corporate Governance.
The group's new niche service in Corporate Governance has given
clients the additional resources they need to satisfy the soaring
regulations introduced to reduce financial and operational risks as
a result of the banking crisis.
Its success is also down to the launch of a unique 'ADvisory'
scheme targeted at recently-qualified Chartered Accountants looking
to make their first move into industry, which includes providing
them with a skills workbook that they can use in their career
search.
Client workshops on subjects ranging from recruiting temporary
workers to how companies should manage their online profiles, as
well as a new in-house personality profiling service have also
contributed to the group's success.
Both clients and candidates have also benefited from a new
high-impact fully informative website at www.alexanderdaniels.co.uk
which has been receiving an average of 1,500 hits a month since
January 2011.
Success has resulted in the hiring of outstanding new staff,
including two recently appointed Senior Consultants, Louisa Smyth
and Kerry Sheerman.
Louisa, who was previously assistant business manager at the
Birmingham office of Reed Finance for six years, will be recruiting
high-quality qualified and executive-level finance professionals
throughout north Birmingham, Staffordshire and the Black
Country.
Kerry, who worked in the Warwickshire market place as Branch
Manager for Premier Group/Morgan McKinley for the past eight years,
will be recruiting the same throughout Coventry and
Warwickshire.
Jamie Rodden, Alexander Daniels Director, said: "We are very
proud of our achievements. Having a great team that is creative,
passionate, professional and adds value makes all the difference.
"We have grown an enviable client base which has benefited from
our innovative processes. In a market place that offers little in
the way of diversity, we believe our offering genuinely stands
out.
He added: "We have plans to open a second office next year,
further develop our website, and continue to acquire market share
in the West Midlands."
