PKF, the leading firm of accountants and business advisers, has
announced that Brian Hamblin will return to its Leicester office as
corporate recovery partner after seven years with PKF's London
office.
Brian originally set up the corporate recovery division at PKF's
Leicester office in 1985. Now, after seven years away, Brian is
delighted to be back where it all began.
Brian said:
"Timing is everything and now is the perfect opportunity to come
back to the Midlands and Leicester especially after being away for
so long. The vast majority of the original team from the department
is still here, which testifies to the success of the
department.
"I've missed the business community here to be honest. There is
a great emphasis on building partnerships and that is crucial in
these challenging times. Leicester's professional sector faces the
same challenges today in terms of competing with the pull of London
and Birmingham, as it used to do with Nottingham. Of course,
Nottingham is also facing those same challenges so the region as a
whole needs to work to address that but I'm confident it will."
Brian is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and
a licensed Insolvency Practitioner. He is also a member of the R3
Council. His experience covers a wide range of industries including
a role as administrator of two high profile F1 racing teams and
several motor dealerships and administrator of a number of
well-known retail outlets including a TV shopping channel.
