A new Asian fusion restaurant has created 12 new jobs in
Worcester after it was opened using a £265,000 loan from
Lloyds TSB Commercial.
Amin's of Worcester is contemporary in style and offers diners
fusion Indian cuisine and cafe bistro. With diverse menus, the
business is endeavouring to take Indian food to the next level. The
restaurant is now officially open to the public, following an
exclusive launch event on 13th October, which saw more than 150
guests enjoy an evening of fine food and live
entertainment.
Occupying 4,000 sq ft premises on Foregate Street, the interior
was designed with a modern decor incorporating the Grade II listed
building. The company is expecting to achieve turnover of
approximately £250,000 in its first year of business and 12
new members of staff have been recruited.
Serving more than 90 covers, the restaurant will offer a
lunchtime cafe bistro menu to fulfil the demand from Worcester's
business community, as well as Indian fusion cuisine in the
evening. The restaurant also features a private dining area, which
is being promoted as 'The Glass House' and can comfortably seat up
to 16 people, available for parties.
Amin's of Worcester is headed-up by owner Mosnul Haque, who has
more than 30 years' experience in the catering and restaurant
industry, has teamed up together with his brother the
renowned chef Jay Haque, who runs two other restaurants in
Worcestershire.
After approaching Lloyds TSB Commercial to secure lending
support, the £265,000 loan has been used to purchase the
premises and in creating a restaurant with an exclusive
interior.
Mosnul Haque said:
"Worcester is thriving and dynamic and we believe that we are
meeting a demand for a new and exciting Indian restaurant within
the city.
"Amin's of Worcester will appeal to both the lunchtime needs of
the local professional clients, as well as after work and weekend
diners who are looking to enjoy contemporary fusion cuisine in a
centrally located restaurant.
"The service that we have received from the Lloyds TSB
Commercial relationship team has been extremely open and supportive
and has made the whole process of securing the funding to open the
new restaurant as quickly and as simply as possible."
