A Tamworth property developer has demonstrated that quality can win through in a difficult market, having let  50 per cent of a recently completed speculative office scheme to a local company.

Hampton Knight a local Tamworth based company specialising in workplace wellbeing services across the UK, has taken 5057 sq ft at Sibson Mill Properties new Vantage House building, Sandy Hill Business Park - the fifth speculatively built phase to be completed at the park over the past six years.

Situated in Amington, just one mile from junction 10 of the M42 and two miles from Tamworth town centre, Sandy Hill has become a destination business park for local and national companies looking for statement offices, with the buildings offering an unusually high level of specification for the area.

Chris Wakeman, Managing Director for Hampton Knight said "We chose Vantage House because of its location, build and high end finish quality which we felt would create the right impression for both our clients and also as a benefit to our staff as one of the best locations in Tamworth to work"

Sibson Mill Properties, which developed Sandy Hill Business Park, is a privately owned property developer who owns a portfolio of office, industrial and residential properties in and around the Tamworth area.  Other notable office schemes developed by the company include Centurion Court in Centurion Way, Darwell Park at Amington Industrial Estate and Ninian Park at Tame Valley Industrial Estate.

Tom Smith a director of Sibson Mill Properties said, "Sandy Hill Business Park is a well located, attractively presented scheme that lends itself to companies looking to make an impression.  All four of the previous phases have been let without any voids and the timeless quality of the buildings has created a clear niche in the local market."

Opportunities exist for offices up to 70,000 sq ft at the business park. Local agent Peter Hicks of Peter J Hicks, Tamworth and Jonathan Carmalt from the Birmingham offices of Jones Lang LaSalle act on behalf of Sibson Mill.

Peter Hicks adds, "In today's market a speculatively built scheme is a rarity, however, Sibson Mill has captured the market for prestigious new offices in the area. Companies are keen to move quickly to secure the offices as it is unlikely many other developers will follow suit with new build schemes in the foreseeable future."
