award at this year's UK Property Awards
Housebuilder Redrow is celebrating after being shortlisted for
three top national property honours.
The company is a finalist in the categories of 'best developer
website', for its innovative broadband television channel
Redrow.TV, and 'best development', for The Bowery, in Bristol, at
the revered UK Property Awards. Due to be announced on October
28th, the awards celebrate the very best of the UK property
industry.
And just a week later on November 3rd, Redrow's 'Our Pride ~
Your Joy' campaign will be among the shortlisted entries competing
to be named 'best marketing initiative' at the 2011 Housebuilder
Awards.
As a finalist in the UK Property Awards, Redrow is guaranteed to
walk away with at least a highly commended award in each of two
categories, but will be hoping to come out top and scoop five star
awards.
Kim Peters, Redrow's group sales and marketing director, said:
"We work hard to achieve the highest quality standards at all our
developments and we are delighted that The Bowery is a finalist
given the vast array of competition from around the UK. The Bowery
is a flagship development, showcasing homes from our New Heritage
Collection. This range of traditional looking homes with Arts &
Crafts influences is being built at locations across England and
Wales.
"In addition, we strive to stay ahead of competitors by finding
new ways to communicate with our customers. Our website Redrow.TV
contains informative and creative film footage to help them choose
a new home."
The UK awards are part of the International Property Awards. The
highest scoring UK winners will compete against other winning
companies from Asia Pacific, Africa, Arabia, the Americas and
Europe to determine the ultimate 'world's best' in each category.
That's an honour Redrow has known in the past, with its unique
Knightstone Island refurbishment project in Somerset named 'best
redevelopment' in the 2008 world awards.
Happening a week later, the Housebuilder Awards are organised by
Housebuilder Media, the leading information provider for the
housebuilding industry and publisher of Housebuilder magazine. They
feature several categories for innovative design, product
development, sustainability, regeneration and community
involvement, as well as marketing.
Redrow will be hoping for success two years running, having
taken the 'best marketing initiative' title in 2010 for Redrow.TV.
The company's entry this year is focused on an innovative marketing
campaign, which featured staff, sub-contractors and customers in a
television commercial plus press advertisements, billboards and
other marketing material.
