Rabjohns LLP is delighted to announce that it has been appointed
to the position of Official Partner to Worcester Warriors for its
work as auditors and tax advisers, and for its all round support
for the club.
Ian Smith, the chairman of Rabjohns, said: "This is a great
accolade for Rabjohns and coincides with Rabjohns merging with
Bishop Fleming on 1st November to form Bishop Fleming Rabjohns, a
new name for our long standing Worcester business. The combined
firm will have 21 partners and 230 staff. The Worcester team's
acknowledged expertise, especially in taxation and sports clubs,
will be enhanced with high level specialists in VAT, Business
Recovery and Wealth Management."
Rabjohns has been advising the Warriors since the original
development of the East Stand and has been heavily involved
throughout the rise to the Premiership and 'Project Sixways'. Their
links actually go back even further, as 2012 marks the 50th
anniversary of the firm acting for Cecil Duckworth, the Chairman of
Worcester Warriors.
Ian Smith, the relationship partner and a former player for the
club in amateur days, will continue to look after the Warriors in
his new role as an equity partner in Bishop Fleming Rabjohns.
Rabjohns are also the accountants for the Warriors Community
Foundation, which they support in a number of ways.
Charlie Little, Managing Director at Warriors, said: "Our
relationship with Rabjohns continues to go from strength to
strength. We are delighted that they are to become an Official
Partner of the Club.
"They are a perfect partner as a well-established, professional
business with a strong reputation in the local area that also has a
very clear vision to grow and develop.
"Warriors wish them every success as they merge with Bishop
Fleming and look forward to continued mutual support in the
future."
