Pudsey pairs up with CPBigwood to raise piles of cash

Pudsey will be proud - surveyors, auctioneers and property managers CPBigwood are set to raise a pile of money for Children in Need.

The nationwide fund-raising event goes ahead on November 18 and the Birmingham-based firm are embracing the occasion with a dress down day, cake sale and raffle.

"It is going to be so exciting for all of us," said Beverley Wootton, accounts services manager based at the firm's Summer Row head office, who has organised activities.

"Children in Need is such a fantastically deserving cause and we decided it was important that we did our bit. Hopefully many others in Birmingham and across the country are already thinking the same."

Raffle prizes have been put up by regular contractors who provide their services to the property management department. And, as a star prize, a £500 holiday voucher is being donated by CPBigwood partners.

Winners will be drawn by joint managing directors Rory Daly and Nigel Curry.

"It is a marvellous effort by our caring staff," said Mr Daly. "My advice to them is to keep that sweet-toothed Pudsey in sight at all times - otherwise I fear he will be after the cakes!"

And Nigel quipped: "It has been noted that Pudsey is carrying a little excess poundage - one suspects a sponsored slim could be called for!"

Cheeky!
