Oxfordshire based financial planning consultancy CMS Financial
Management Ltd has expanded its services into the corporate sector,
creating a new division CMS Corporate Management.
The move is the result of a major increase in corporate
enquiries and the success of its private client business since
relocating from the City of London in 2007.
CMS Corporate Management is now offering companies independent
expert advice to help them in all areas of financial planning
including the need to comply with new pension legislation that
comes into force next year.
This requires employers to enrol all their staff on the
Government's new NEST pension scheme or a similar private scheme
and make contributions starting at 1 per cent from 2012, rising to
3 per cent of salary by 2017.
Managing Director Dave Marler said: "CMS will be helping
companies that are new to group pension schemes meet these
requirements, as well as those that feel they may not be receiving
good value from their existing employer pension schemes. A generous
private pension scheme is key to attracting and retaining top
quality staff."
He added: "We provide an exclusive face-to-face service aimed at
identifying the individual retirement goals of a company's
employees, including individual pension forecasting for each staff
member, expected state pension benefits and the risk they wish to
accept within their pension plans."
