The NEC Group has appointed Jane Jarvis as its new Human
Resources Director, to manage the needs of its 1,200 permanent
staff, as well as a further 2,000 casual workers.
Jane brings a wealth of experience in human resources, from
brands including McDonald's, British Gas and the Automobile
Association (AA). She joins from Craegmoor - a care provider that
employs some 5,500 people across 250 locations in the UK - where
she worked in several HR roles, culminating as Human Resources
Director.
Commenting on her appointment, Jane said: "The NEC Group
operates The NEC, LG Arena, NIA, ICC, The Ticket Factory and
Amadeus - which are all established brands and amongst the industry
leaders in their respective fields.
"I'm relishing the challenge of working across such a broad
portfolio of businesses and I look forward to providing each member
of staff with the resources they need to take the Group forward and
to enhance their own development."
Managing a team of 25, Jane will oversee all human resource
aspects of the Group, including learning and development, pensions,
payroll and occupational health & safety.
