Eastside of Birmingham, with a number of other significant
developments emerging in the area. Birmingham Ormiston Academy
opened its doors for the first time this month and both Birmingham
City University's Birmingham Institute of Art and Design (BIAD)
campus and Birmingham's City Park will open in 2013. On how
Millennium Point will fit into the ongoing development of Eastside,
Zissman continues, "The landscape of our immediate neighbourhood is
transforming before our eyes. Millennium Point has stood in
isolation for some time, and it is great to see the surrounding
area now developing at such pace."
