Local business owners will hear about the journey of one of
Stoke-on-Trent's most successful businesses at the Staffordshire
Marketing Academy on Friday.
Mark Warren, MD of Lister Trade Frames in Fenton, is to reveal
the secrets of the £8.5m turnover company's success at the
event, which takes place at the Moat House, Festival Park on
October 28th (9am-1pm).
In a Parkinson-style interview with marketing strategist
Caroline Law, he will also cover the ups-and-downs he's experienced
in building the door, window and conservatory manufacturing company
over the past 35 years.
Caroline Law said: "At our last Action for Business Live event
in May, our case study was Iain Donaldson, founder of Autonet
Insurance, and this month we have someone of similar calibre in
Mark Warren.
"Mark will give us all an insight into building an £8.5m
turnover company, and dealing with all the challenges that brings -
particularly from a marketing perspective."
Up to 100 business owners are expected at Friday's event, where
they will also hear from PR man Richard Swancott, video and viral
marketing expert James Capper, business coach Amanda Brooke and
change management specialist Andy Pickin.
The keynote speaker is Les Jones, from brand development company
Winning Moves, who will be covering how to be creative in
developing a business and how to make it memorable.
A limited number of places are still available at
www.staffsmarketingacademy.co.uk at £35, plus a £2.95
