Birmingham building services provider J S Wright has proved that
its skills and training are second to none after being named UK
Commercial Installer of the Year.
The Aston-based company was awarded the title at the prestigious
InstallerLive 2011 Awards held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole
Hotel.
The glittering event, which attracted 600 professionals from the
heating and plumbing industry, honoured the finest products,
projects and performance across the sector.
The Oscar's-style ceremony was hosted by top comedian and
presenter Rufus Hound, best known as the winner of the BBC show
Let's Dance for Comic Relief last year.
It was the second top award in less than six months for the
121-year-old company after it won the HVAC Contractor of the Year
award at the H&V News Awards in May.
J S Wright beat off competition from scores of engineering
services contractors across the UK to win the inaugural award
sponsored by Corgi Services.
The company, which recently opened its first London office at
Trafalgar Square, was praised for its customer care and training,
along with its competence in meeting the needs of its hotel,
leisure, commercial, student accommodation and residential
clients.
The 16 judges, all experts in plumbing, heating and renewables,
stated that J S Wright had "submitted an excellent application from
an old established business" that promoted "a professional
company with a wealth of experience within the industry".
Marcus Aniol, J S Wright Managing Director, said: "This is a
tremendous acknowledgement of our standing as the UK's leading
M&E contractor and fully rewards our commitment to having the
best trained workforce in the country. It also brings added impetus
to our growth plans for London and the South East."
