A West Midlands based, ERA specialist is urging businesses to
leave ERA issues to the experts, during a time of unemployment and
mass redundancies.
ERA Solutions, based in Tamworth, conducted research on 50
randomly selected Insolvency Practitioners (IPs) around the UK, and
found 84% don't employ specialist staff to deal with ERA
issues.
Research showed that only 16% of them had their own Employment
Rights' Act staff in-house, and over 80% of companies questioned,
did not have specialist people to deal with employment rights
during a time when redundancies were imminent.
Outsourcing ERA work can help IPs by creating an additional
revenue stream to an Insolvency Practitioner's businesses without
outlaying much needed cash on extra staff, training or
equipment.
Sarah Portman, from ERA Solutions, said: "It really is a win-win
situation for all IPs. You may keep your core competencies
in-house, but if you do not have your own ERA specialists,
outsource now to immediately increase your revenue stream. ERA
Solutions assist insolvency practitioners with their ERA needs,
saving companies valuable time and money, and offering a complete
service to redundant employees."
The claim process is long, difficult and requires specialists to
manage, but a good outsourced company like ERA Solutions will cover
the whole process from the preparation of employee letters, sending
out information packs, RP1 pack and dealing with statements of
affairs.
The outsourced company will liaise with the redundancy office,
prepare statutory forms, and have an on-site presence.
We've worked with many insolvency practitioners over the last
decade and have helped them to grow their own businesses by
outsourcing their ERA work to us," said Sarah Portman.
ERA Solutions are the leading specialists in the assistance of
employee matters with Insolvency Practitioners and will act as an
employee relations service when a company is in insolvency.
