ID Centre helps small businesses with the re-launch of its associate membership scheme

Following a recent report, which suggests that office take-up across the city is slowly on the increase, Derby business incubation facility, the ID Centre is doing its bit to support small businesses with the re-launch of its associate membership package.

The ID Centre, which is based at the rtc business park on London Road has re-launched its associate membership in a bid to give small and developing businesses the kick-start they need to establish themselves in the slowly recovering economic current climate.

Associate Membership costs just £10 a month and gives businesses and individuals access to a professional address and the full range of business support services offered by the ID Centre - without the cost or commitment or taking a unit.

As well as internal support, associate members will receive promotion on the centre's website, invitations to tenant meetings, networking opportunities and affiliate membership to the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce.

Managed by the University of Derby, the ID Centre supports the creation and growth of businesses working within rail, engineering, aerospace and technology sectors.

Commenting on the re-launch of the associate membership package, Louise Jones, business incubation manager at the ID Centre said:

"Our new associate membership package is a fantastic way for businesses that are in their formative stages to get business support and advice, as well as present themselves professionally to customers and suppliers with an established business address.

"And with recent statistics suggesting that the economy is slowly improving, it is the time perfect time to offer new and developing businesses as much help as we possibly can at a minimal cost."

The ID Centre is a fully services business incubation facility specially for technology-based and engineering businesses, with 32 fully furnished office units ranging from 105 sq ft to 438 sq ft.

All units have a staffed reception, meeting rooms with video conferencing facility, kitchen facilities, subsidised restaurant, free parking and a 30-degree business incubation support package.
