One of the UK's leading independent insurance broking and risk
managing firms has appointed Nottingham's Eden Public Relations to
deliver comprehensive communications for the expanding
business.
Russell Scanlan has a reputation for delivery that is built on a
strong, traditional heritage and a progressive, innovative
approach. Since a successful management buy out in 2007, the firm
has gone from strength to strength, increasing its turnover by
16.8% to an estimated £1.9m and leading to an expansion into
the Leicester market in 2009.
Eden, long established in the City and the region, has built a
reputation on managing national and regional client accounts
requiring 'on the doorstep' client servicing without compromising
on sector expertise or strategic best practice. Their brief
includes providing external marketing and PR support through a
programme of targeted activity to support Russell Scanlan as it
moves into the next phase of growth and development.
Russell Scanlan currently has around 2,500 clients within its
portfolio. These include large commercial companies or
organisations such as the Groucho Club in London, the Ironbridge
Gorge Museum in Telford, Nottingham Forest Football Club, Slimming
World in Derbyshire and Tennis Coach UK. The firm also specialises
in niche sectors, such as micro-breweries, museums, galleries and
garden allotments.
"As part of our growth plans, we decided the time was right to
bring in expert PR support to help us position ourselves within new
markets," said Bryan Banbury, Russell Scanlan's Managing Director.
"Eden's credentials as a local supplier are excellent, and we know
they will provide both quality consultancy and tactical
support."
Isabel Jones Joint Managing Director at Eden added: "We are
delighted to be working with Russell Scanlan. The firm continues to
be one of the most successful insurance brokers in the UK, and Eden
has a great opportunity to deliver effective press relations to
support their ambitions plans to grow their client base across the
UK."
