Christmas could come early for party-goers celebrating the festive season at The Belfry.

A state-of-the-art tablet is among the top prizes up for grabs at the special party nights being thrown at the resort in the countdown to Christmas - along with a booby prize of a more traditional tablet.

A lucky party-goer on every table will get the chance to step into a giant inflatable capsule, known as the Winning Whirlwind, to grab as many airborne tickets as possible against the clock.

On one party night, the overall winner will be rewarded with an HTC Flyer while the catcher of the least number of tickets will be presented with an alternative tablet of a traditional Scottish sweet.

Other main prizes on the party nights, such as mobile phones, will include children's toy versions going to the unlucky losers.

Samantha Baker, from The Belfry, said: "Our Christmas party nights have always been really popular among friends and colleagues wanting to celebrate the festivities and we're expecting them to be even more of a hit this year with the Winning Whirlwind.

The party nights being held on December 2, 3, 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17, start from £49.95 per person and include a welcome drink, four-course dinner, disco and complimentary entry after midnight into the resort's on-site Bel Air nightclub.

They are among a host of festive celebrations being held at The Belfry throughout December, which includes private dining from £19.95 per person and overnight stays from £49.50 per person.
