Childcare group Children 1st @ Breedon House are double-winners
at the recent Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Chamber of
Commerce's BEST Business Awards 2011.
Following on from their recent success in the Nottinghamshire's
BEST Business Awards scooping 'Business of the Year', the group has
been named winner in the 'Excellence in People Development'
category at the Derbyshire BEST Business Awards held at the
Roundhouse in Derby last Friday evening.
The Long Eaton-based group is family-run and consists of 13 day
nurseries and a Training Academy. Ofsted has confirmed that
Children 1st @ Breedon House delivers outstanding provision and
exciting learning opportunities to the 1,652 children and families
who attend its nurseries and out-of-school clubs.
Employing 332 staff, the company's recent Investors in People
assessment confirmed that it is an excellent employer.
Managing Director, Jacqui Mason said: "I am absolutely delighted

& Excellence in People Development awards at the DNCC BEST
Business Award ceremonies. I am thrilled to accept these awards on
