Two directors are taking part in a charity bike ride along the
Grand Union Canal to raise money for charity.
Steve Cooper from Walsall-based castings firm Majorfax and Dave
Feenan from AJ Law will cycle 145 miles in three days, from London
to Birmingham, to raise money for Mencap.
The UK's leading learning disability charity is particularly
important to Steve, who's daughter suffers from Smith-Magenis
Syndrome, a disorder which can cause intellectual disability,
delayed speech and language skills and behavioural problems.
Steve said: "Mencap is a charity close to my heart and it is a
great honour to give something back to them after all the support
they have given my family over the years."
Steve and Dave will set off from London Zoo on Thursday 6
October and will finish at Gas Street Basin in Birmingham on
Saturday 8 October.
