Forge House Hair & Beauty has been founded by Anita Dyson, utilising her 20 years of hairdressing and business experience to introduce organic hair products and dyes to the Halesowen area.

The business has been built around Anita's ethos of providing exemplary customer service, utilising the best organic products available on the market.  

The business is located in Forge House, on the well-known Mucklow Hill, Halesowen. Forge House has been extensively renovated to provide an outstanding venue for customers. The premises retains the charm of its heritage, mixing reclaimed French oak floors, shot blasted brickwork and exposed beams but all with a contemporary edge.  

Anita has secured an agreement with Organic Colour Systems to provide certified organic colours and products. Anita said "having quality natural products allows me to offer my customers an alternative to the chemical cocktails used by the vast majority of salons. OCS products are not tested on animals and are specifically designed to use natural ingredients to work with the hair in harmony. It's amazing to see customers' positive reactions when they feel the difference in the quality of their hair after using natural products."

Co-located with and complimenting the hair business, Forge Nails is operated by Andrew Rumford. Andrew has a wealth of experience in all aspects of nail work and a forte for nail art. Andrew said "I fell in love with Forge House the moment that I saw it, and completely agree with Anita's' ethos of customer service and quality. The hair and nails work in perfect synergy, and clients are really appreciating the combined service of nails and hair at the same time".

Anita is looking to develop the business over the forthcoming months, extending the number of stylists and completing work on a separate beauty spa room. Anita said "we are still in the early stages of the business, but I am keen to build upon the initial successes. I remember how difficult it was when I set up my first business many years ago, so I am really pleased to be able to offer potential opportunities to additional hairdressers and beauty therapists who want to be a part of the Forge House ethos.
