Business leaders will gather to boast about the Black Country at
a breakfast event on 19th October 2011 at the Molineux Stadium.
The Black Country Diners Club quarterly breakfast networking
events present a unique format for a high quality networking
opportunity for Black Country businesses.
The 'Question Time style' panel consists of Sally Hares,
Director of Walsall based Hares Moor, Paul McCairn, Managing
Director of Brierley Hill based Bri-mac Engineering, Wolverhampton
based Nigel Moorhouse, Vice President - Nacelles Value Stream,
Goodrich and John Rider, Regional Chairman of the Institute of
Directors. Each will be voicing their thoughts on a private
sector-led recovery, in a panel chaired by Paul Kalinauckas, Chief
Executive of BCRS.
The BCDC is organised by Aldermore Invoice Finance, Alliance for
the Black Country, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and Black Country
Reinvestment Society (BCRS).
Paul Kalinauckas, Chief Executive of BCRS said, "It's time we
started boasting about the Black Country if we want to realise our
potential. We've got plenty to celebrate after winning Enterprise
zone status for the i54 site and the announcement of the new Jaguar
Landrover engine plant facility. Don't forget that at one time
Bilston had the most wealth creating square mile in the world and
the resurgence in the manufacturing sector bodes well for a private
sector recovery .This event offers the opportunity to boast
about our successes and pose questions to a panel of successful
business people over a hearty breakfast to kick start the day."
