Birmingham-based health insurer BHSF has appointed two key
personnel to its middle management team.
Samantha Fennell, 35, joins as Assistant Company Secretary and
brings a wealth of experience from her previous role where she was
Head of Quality and Compliance at Teleperformance. Samantha has a
law degree and is currently finalising her Institute of Chartered
Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) studies after which she will
become a Chartered Secretary.
Shelley Tromans, 29, joins as Marketing Manager having held a
number of high profile marketing and business development
positions, as well as running her own marketing consultancy.
Shelley has a BSc (Hons) and a masters degree from
Loughborough University and is keen on hockey and has played at
county level.

HR & Operations Director David Nuttall said: "BHSF has a
culture of developing its internal resources while at the same time
bringing in skilled individuals.
"Samantha and Shelley add real strength to our middle management

And BHSF continues to invest in its people with the appointment
of two graduates to its successful graduate development
programme.
Kate Statham and Luke Brown are currently working their way
through a nine-month programme which will take them into each
department of the company with a variety of operational and project
work leading to a permanent placement in 2012.
Kate joined BHSF straight from the University of Birmingham
where she studied joint honours in
Geography and Economics (BSc), and Luke attended University
College Birmingham studying sports management and graduating with a
1st class honours degree.
David Nuttall said "Our graduate scheme continues to be
successful and many of those who have started with us over the past
eight years are now in management positions. We are confident both
Kate and Luke will make a valuable contribution to our continued
successes at BHSF."
